At least eight Palestinians, among them a child, were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces from the West Bank at daybreak Monday.
The Israeli army claimed the arrestees have been involved in anti-occupation activities.
The campaign targeted two Palestinians from Jenin, three from Ramallah, two from Bethlehem’s northern refugee camp, and another from al-Khalil province.
The occupation army claimed that weapons were spotted in the sweep, adding that 39 types of weapons were seized and 35 blacksmith shops shut down by the Israeli forces in the West Bank since the start of 2017.
The campaign culminated in the abduction of the Palestinian child Adam Darwish from Ayeda refugee camp, north of Bethlehem, at the crack of dawn.
