Hamas condemns Israeli decision to shutdown Al-Jazeera

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, condemned the Israeli Occupation’s decision to close Al-Jazeera’s office and prevent it from covering news inside the occupied Palestinian territories.

The spokesman of the movement, Hazem Qassem, said that this act aims to limit the transmission of the aggressive practices carried out by the Israeli Occupation against the Palestinian people and holy sites.

Qassem confirmed that Al-Jazeera has played a significant role in covering the Palestinian side of the conflict professionally and authentically, which has unnerved the Israeli Occupation. “It also worked to uncover the crimes committed in Gaza during the Israeli assaults and report the Al-Aqsa events which unfolded during the last period.“
