Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip, Yahia Sinwar met on Tuesday in his office with the head of the international committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer .
Sinwar discussed several issues with his guest including the bitter human conditions experienced by the Palestinian people wherever they are based whether inside the occupied Palestinian territories or in diaspora, and the continuous and blatant Israeli violations of the international law.
He as well discussed the agony of the Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli prisons and the Israeli policy of depriving them from receiving family visits.
Concerning Jerusalem, Sinwar said that the Israeli Occupation continues to desecrate the Islamic and Christian holy places in the city, noting that the people of Jerusalem fall victims to the ongoing Israeli practices including settlements and land confiscation.
He encouraged mutual cooperation with the Red Cross to expose the Israeli violations to the international world.
