Hamas: Naksa was a shock For Arabs

GAZA, (PIC) +-
Refugee Affairs Department in Hamas Movement said on Tuesday that the Naksa and the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967 constituted a shock to Arabs that can only be overcome by ending the Israeli occupation not by establishing an alliance with it.

This came in a press statement issued by the Department on Tuesday to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Naksa.

The Department affirmed that the Palestinian people are adherent to the right of resistance in all its forms, describing it as the only means to restore their rights and holy sites.

It denounced the latest remark of the member of the Fatah Central Committee, Jibril Rajoub, in which he said that al-Buraq Wall is a sacred place for Jews, also criticizing the concessions the Palestinian Authority has made since the Oslo Agreement and until the present moment.

The statement called on the Palestinian refugees in the diaspora to devise more means to support their cause in all arenas, praised the steadfastness of the Palestinians in al-Aqsa Mosque, and stressed the need to strengthen and expand the Jerusalem Intifada.

It asked the Muslim and Arab nations to end their internal conflicts and unite their efforts to confront their real enemy which is the Israeli occupation.

The statement concluded by urging the Palestinian Authority to end all forms of security coordination with the Israeli occupation authorities.
