Israeli arrest campaign waged in anticipation of ‘day of rage’

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched at dawn Friday a large-scale raid and arrest campaign in West Bank and Jerusalem as Palestinians declare a day of rage over US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Local sources affirmed that at least 16 Palestinian were detained in occupied Jerusalem, while ten others were arrested in Issawiya town after being brutally attacked.

Two other young men were rounded up early today as clashes broke out in Qalqilia.

The Israeli arrest campaigns came in anticipation of the Palestinian day of rage declared by Hamas Movement throughout occupied Palestinian territories in protest against Trump’s move to his country’s embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem.

The Palestinians declared three “days of rage,” shuttering schools and businesses, and staging angry demonstrations across the West Bank. Gaza, and occupied Jerusalem.
